An alternative would be to get your kanna to 200 for 5th job skills and farm at maps like Fes2, BTC and eventually Chu Chu. DDS3 is for level 200+ and the meso rates there are significantly less than your ulu rates right now.

the base drop rate for meso bags is 60% meaning that if you get at least 67% drop rate you guarantee meso bag drops 0.60 * 1.67 = ~1, which is the most you can do for meso drop rate. note that familiar drop rate doesn't count for meso drop rate unless it specifically says meso drop rate. With full meso/drop farming you get around ~600m-700m/hr now without totems. Mule bossing is by far superior regardless of efficienty imo. Again for max efficiency you want meso gear but you only need 5 pieces of meso gear as opposed to 9 pieces of drop gear. Again it's about 1b per piece of meso gear. There's pros and cons to each.
