It's still very good and absolutely worth getting. The majority of places it's used have had pretty small single digit nerfs, while bosses with very high defense (gwd / callisto / tekton) were hit pretty hard. And it's un-nerfed inside toa so you'll 100% want it there. See a comment here with some numbers for popular bosses.

The number of fangs brought into the game from EM compared to HM is laughably low. It's the purple drop rate being so high in general that makes the fang so common. When you can run raids and see a purple every 1-2 hours, it's a bit too common .
